Our Story

Hi there and welcome to our shop!  My name is Stephanie and I am the Owner and Designer of Ellington & Co.

Ellington is my beautiful daughter who is my first born and my mini me!  I also have a handsome little man named Kingston.  He is the baby and always keeps us on our toes!  Dave is my loving and supportive partner who came into our lives several years ago.  We are all so lucky to have each other and look forward to what adventures the future will bring! And there you have it, Ellington & Co. brand was born.

I have always had a passion for creativity and the drive for business.  I am so fortunate to have family that I am very close to and that I even get to see daily.  Have worked for the last 17 years in not one but two family run businesses has taught me so many core values.

You would think the best part of owning your own business is being your own boss, wrong!  Although let's be real, that does have its perks but honestly, having my family involved and seeing my children's faces when they smelled my candles for the first time, especially their favourite scent that smells just like Froot Loops!  As parents we are unconditionally proud of our children but when roles are reversed and you can see how awesome they think you are because you're following your passion, THAT is the best part of owning and creating your own business!

Here at Ellington & Co. we have designed a collection of rich luxurious candles that not only smell lovely but also look stunning.  We wanted to create a candle that could be enjoyed as part of your home decor whether it's burning or not.

Our mission is to provide you with gorgeous luxury candles while being cognizant of our environment.  We believe in upcycling, recycling and reusing as much as we can especially within our business.  All of our candles jars in some shape or form can be repurposed.
